The Plaza 900 dining venue at the University of Missouri-Columbia will be undergoing a major facelift and expansion that, among other things, will add 250 seats in order to accommodate an expected increase in traffic, reports the Maneater student paper. The project, originally intended for a longer timeline, has been fast-tracked to finish by the fall of 2014 in order to be ready to serve an expanded residential student population in the area. A new residential facility with 331 beds is slated to open nearby in 2015.
