The University of Georgia has promoted Jeanne Fry to director of food services. In her new role, she will be responsible of all meal plan operations, campus catering, food service retail operations, central food storage warehouse and food service facilities management.

Fry has been with UGA Food Services for more than nine years, working her way through the positions of food operations manager, assistant director of food services and associate director of food services. Serving an instrumental role overseeing three major renovation projects and the construction of one new food service facility, she has also implemented new menu concepts such as the Oriental Trading Post, Joe at the O coffee shop and the 24-hour meal plan service at Snelling Dining Commons.

“The University of Georgia Food Services is very fortunate to have Jeanne Fry on our team,” says executive director of Food Services J. Michael Floyd. “She is a natural leader who inspires her team members to excel and provide our customers with an outstanding food service program. I look forward to working with Mrs. Fry as we take Food Services to a new level of excellence.”
