Tulane Dining Services has implemented a dining hall takeout program that adds lunchtime convenience while restricting potential program abuse, reports the Hullabaloo campus paper. Called Simply-to-Go, it lets students get an entrée (either a wrap, sub or salad), a side item (either chips, fruit or a cookie) and a beverage (a bottled water, soda or juice) at the Bruff Commons dining hall with a meal swipe between 11 am and 3 pm on weekdays.

Students with an unlimited Carte Blanche meal plan, however, are restricted from entering Bruff for two hours following a swipe to prevent them from dining and then getting takeout for friends. Usually, the gap between Carte Blanche swipes is 15 minutes.
