TrustHouse adds Chief Growth Officer

Chris Ciatto once headed Aramark Healthcare's Clinical Technology Services unit.

TrustHouse Services Group has added Chris Ciatto as executive vice president and Chief Growth Officer, a newly created role in which he will focus on corporate strategy and driving organic growth while expanding sales and marketing efforts for the contract management firm based in Charlotte, N.C. He will report directly to recently appointed President/CEO Dr. Brian Poplin.

Ciatto most recently served as senior vice president of prevention solutions for the OptumHealth division of UnitedHealth Group, where he was responsible for a full complement of health and wellness offerings including onsite physical activity and nutrition programs and where he executed a major financial turnaround driven by new product introductions, accelerated organic sales and strong financial discipline. Previously, he was president of the Clinical Technology Services unit of Aramark Healthcare and then CEO for Plus One Health Management. He began his career with the McKinsey & Co. consulting organization.

“We are pleased to add Chris to our leadership team,” said Poplin in a statement accompanying the appointment announcement. “He has a unique ability to see growth opportunities and his extensive experience in the segments we serve, especially healthcare and senior services, allows us to provide more targeted services to this important demographic, while enhancing our overall performance throughout our portfolio.”

TrustHouse was No. 8 on Food Management’s 2015 Top 50 Contract Management Companies listing, with 2014 revenues of $498 million.
