Texas A&M Announces Outsource Deal With Levy

Company to oversee food and hospitality operations in all TAMU athletic facilities, including Kyle Field, Blue Bell Park and Reed Arena.

Texas A&M University has announced a contract with Levy Restaurants to oversee food and hospitality operations in all TAMU athletic facilities, including Kyle Field, Blue Bell Park and Reed Arena. The facilities had been excluded from a prior agreement between Levy parent company Compass USA and Texas A&M covering other campus food service operations.

“Levy’s creativity and unmatched expertise in the sports and entertainment world will have a dramatic impact on our fans and the community as a whole,” says TAMU Interim President Dr. Mark Hussey. “Their passion for building relationships with local partners and commitment to creating a dynamic experience will undoubtedly help us set a new standard in collegiate sports.”

According to terms of the agreement, Levy will help inform the Kyle Field redevelopment project with a priority on expanding dining options, enhancing menus and elevating hospitality for all guests. The 12-year deal includes $1.75mm in capital investment and over $18mm in bonuses and advance commissions and is  believed to be the largest and best athletic facility agreement in the US collegiate market, according to a Texas A&M pores release.
