Revolution Foods Gets $30 Million From Steve Case's Revolution Fund

Investment expected to help healthy school meal supplier expand.

Revolution Foods has received a reported $30 million investment from the Revolution Growth Fund, a venture capital concern started by America Online co-founder Stephen Case and two AOL colleagues, reports the Washington Business Journal.

Founded in 2006, Revolution Foods supplies healthy lunches to school systems across the country, including the San Francisco USD. Recently, the company has also branched into selling retail prepackaged meals in grocery stores. Revolution Foods was listed as No. 31 on the FM 2014 Top 50 Contract Management Companies listing with estimated 2013 revenues of around $70 million.
