Pennsylvania is searching for a new firm to operate the Capitol Cafeteria after Aramark informed the state's Dept. of General Services that it wanted to terminate its contract a year early, reports the Harrisburg Patriot-News. In 2009, Aramark signed a three-year extension on the contract it has held since 2004 to operate the eatery that serves the Pennsylvania state legislature and its staff and visitors.

The deal gives both parties the right to terminate early for financial reasons. Sales at the Capitol Cafeteria have lagged since a shutdown a year ago because of a rodent infestation.
