OU to Renovate a Third Major Dining Facility

Ohio University's Board of Trustees has officially approved renovation plans for the school's Boyd Dining Hall, which is set to begin this spring. In order to compensate for the closing of the venue during the renovation, OU Culinary Services plans to implement a number of dining alternatives for students affected by the closure.

They include the debut of OU's first full-service food truck, The Hungry Cat, which will offer a variety of upscale sandwiches, sides and desserts, and extended hours seven days week in the Shively Court and Nelson Court eateries. There will also be a Mini Grab N Go in the Boyd Dining Hall entryway area and Boyd's Boyd Market c-store will remain operational during the spring semester. Culinary Services is also arranging for a dedicated shuttle service provided between West Green, where Boyd is, and Nelson Commons.

This is the latest is a series of facility upgrade to campus dining at OU as both Nelson Court and Shively Court have already had extensive recent makeovers.
