Ohio State University has opened its new Ohio Union student union complex, which includes four dining outlets. They include...

• Sloopy’s Diner, a diner concept that serves breakfast all day, emphasizes locally sourced ingredients and is open 22 hours (6 am to 4 am) a day;

• Woody’s Tavern, a campus pub with alcohol service that serves pizza and traditional bar foods;

• Union Market, a four-station food court with a grill (Fired Up), salad station (Across the Field), deli (Dough-I-O) and an ethnic foods station (Buckeye Passports) that will rotate international and regional cuisines;

• Espress-OH, a coffee bar serving gelatos, parfaits and coffees from a local roaster.

The facility is the product of a three-year, $118 million renovation project. In addition to the dining outlets, which are all located on the first floor, the Ohio Union also includes banquet facilities, offices and other resources for student and alumni groups.
