The Arizona Diamondbacks at their Chase Field home field have opened what the team says is the first premium hospitality space located away from the traditional suite levels in a Major League ballpark, reports the Phoenix Business Journal. Operated by concessionaire Levy Restaurants, Studio@122 can be rented on a per-game basis for groups of up to 20 (it can also be divided into two 10-person spaces). The per-game charge for rental is $3,000 to $8,000 depending on day and opponent but covers basic ballpark food (hot dogs, burgers, etc.) plus two beers per adult (wine and liquor are extra). The space was created at a cost of $200,000 in Section 122 behind home plate.
