A series of restaurant concepts from the Danny Mayer’s Union Square Hospitality Group will be among the foodservice offerings for New York Mets fans in the Major League Baseball team’s new Citi Field when it opens next spring, reports the New York Times. Among the concepts will be a Blue Smoke barbecue restaurant, a Shake Shack stand, a Pop Fries Belgian-style hand-cut fries stand and a taqueria.

Mayer Hospitality will also run a high-end restaurant/lounge complex behind home plate called the Sterling Club. Mayer will operate under a deal with Aramark, which has the contract for foodservices at Citi Field.
