The Washington Nationals and Levy Restaurants have extended Levy's exclusive restaurant  partnership deal at Nationals Park in Washington, DC, which was originally signed in 2009.

"For the last five years, our collaboration with Levy Restaurants has resulted in a diverse selection of fantastic food options and outstanding hospitality," says Alan Gottlieb, COO of Lerner Sports, which manages operations at the venue. "The availability of high quality food choices is essential to our guests, and Levy's creativity and passion have helped create an unparalleled fan experience at Nationals Park. We look forward to continuing our partnership for seasons to come."

"The Nationals share our vision for creating an evolving, one-of-a-kind experience for fans," offers Levy President/CEO Andy Lansing. "Chef-driven with an analytics-based approach, we push ourselves to innovate every aspect of the game day, from the ingredients we source, to the dishes they inspire and how we leverage technology to create a dynamic, high-touch experience for fans with."

The agreement expands the ballpark's Farm-to-Table program and will introduce new collaborations with local restaurants and farmers to bring fresh meat, poultry and vegetables to guests throughout Nationals Park.

New menu items will include hand rolled sushi, stir-fry to order noodles, house made jumbo lump crab cakes and new vegetarian and gluten-free options, like fresh salads, sandwiches and veggie burritos. One fan favorite spot, District Drafts, will have two new locations and will feature local taps from brewers such as DC Brau, 3 Stars Brewing Company and Port City Brewing Co.

Leveraging a season-long study of fan behaviors, Levy and the Nationals targeted many stands around the park for redesign, adding points of service to get fans in and out of lines and back to the action quickly through faster purchase times and optimized event day flow. There will also be new digital menu boards introduced throughout the ballpark for enhanced service and real-time information on offerings, promotions and more.
