The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) has released its new organizational logo, which can be seen here.

The logo, created to celebrate the association’s 50th anniversary, is the work of many volunteers on the NACUFS marketing committee and principals from Gordon Hanrahan, Inc., a Chicago-based marketing communications company.

“The new logo represents the best of what NACUFS has to offer,” says Marketing Committee Chairman Andrew Lough. “A core strength of the association has always been the connectivity of its members, so it was important to convey connectivity in the imagery. The linking icon and visual tightness of the logo communicate this well. In our research, we learned that professional resources were of high value to members. The new tagline reflects this theme. And the use of the color green was deliberate, reflecting the increasing emphasis on sustainability in college and university foodservices.”
