The Marine Corps is preparing to field a new mobile kitchen designed to deliver hot food to troops in some war zone bases, reports the Marine Corps Times. The Expeditionary Field Kitchens (EFKs) from Global Strategies Group North America can each feed up to 500 Marines three times a day and could be deployed before the end of the year. The contract, worth up to $48.2 million calls for at least 112 kitchen systems.
