Levy Restaurants has secured a deal with Palace Sports & Entertainment to manage foodservice and hospitality at its three venues, including the Palace at Auburn Hills, home of the NBA’s Detroit Pistons. Levy also expanded its deal with Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to manage concessions. The company already operated suite catering at the facility, home of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.

Palace Sports also operates DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkson, MI, and manages the Meadow Brook Music Festival on the Oakland (MI) University campus. At the Palace at Auburn Hills, Levy replaces Centerplate, which had managed food and concessions since the venue opened in 1988. The arena is the largest in the NBA and the Pistons usually lead the league in attendance at over 21,000 per game, making the contract one of the league’s most lucrative.

Levy also recently landed the contract for Chicago’s United Center. Chicago has recently finished right behind Detroit in NBA attendance, giving Levy contracts with the league’s two top draws.
