Levy Restaurants has acquired Professional Sports Catering (PSC), a provider of food and hospitality services to 18 minor league and spring training ballparks around the country. Launched in 2006, PSC has has grown into a significant presence in the minor league baseball concessions business.

Most recently, the company signed a deal with the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Single-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) and inked its first spring training account, with the Peoria Sports Complex, spring training home of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres). Helmed by founder and current CEO Tom Dickson, PSC will continue to focus exclusively on mid-sized baseball stadiums, Levy indicated in a release announcing the acquisition.

“PSC has a true passion for the minor league game day experience and we couldn’t be more proud to partner with them,” says Levy President/CEO Andy Lansing. “Tom and his team have a wonderful knowledge of the MiLB landscape, strong relationships and a unique depth of expertise. Together, we are able to fuel that specialization with a high powered engine of new culinary and hospitality resources, training programs, analytics and more to welcome fans with an exceptional experience.”

“In Levy, we found a partner that shares our core values of quality food, great guest service, and a partnership mentality,” concurs Dickson. “Levy Restaurants not only aligns with all of these principles, but also helps us tap into the power of the leaders in sports and entertainment food and hospitality. We couldn’t be happier about how this will enhance our capabilities as a company, and are very excited about the opportunities it will present.”
