A restaurant concept specializing in potatoes is opening on the Arizona State University campus this fall. The franchised unit of the French Fry Heaven chain will be one of a string of commercial restaurant units located along the street level of the Vista Del Sol student residential complex on the ASU campus.

The chain’s menu consists of French fries and baked potatoes served with a variety of seasonings and toppings. Topping combos include Bacon Cheeseburger (bacon, beef, lettuce, red onion, cheese sauce), Country Fried Chicken (fried chicken and white country gravy) and The Ball Park (fried hot dogs, ketchup, mustard, cheese sauce) while seasoning range from traditional (dill, Cajun) to exotic (black truffle salt) to challenging (ghost pepper salt). Rounding out the menu are chicken tenders with various dipping sauces and dessert funnel fries.

Vista Del Sol is a student apartment complex in which the residences are located on upper floors above a street-level shopping mall that includes also Jimmy John’s and Domino’s Pizza units as well as retailers, including a campus-sized WalMart.
