Fordham Shuts Down Farm-to-Campus Program

Fordham University has put a halt to a campus community-supported agriculture initiative in its law school, citing a variety of factors, including catering contract exclusivity with campus dining services provider Sodexo, reports the New York Times. The program had delivered fresh produce from a nearby farm to students and staff who paid a $150-per-semester fee, with excess donated to a local soup kitchen.
