Fiscal 2014 Revenues: $84,000,000

Continental’s Forte Belanger off premise catering unit had significant growth in 2014, expanding its culinary offerings and introducing a full beverage program. The vending division continues to embrace cashless acceptance, currently operating over 2,000 credit card readers. It also implemented the Lightspeed inventory control system in its warehouse to compliment its new pre-kit (prepacked totes that facilitate vending site replenishment) operations, a program that will be implemented in all warehouse locations in 2015.

Warehouse efficiency is being boosted with not only the new pre-kit approach to deliveries but also the addition of a corporate marketing & merchandise manager to oversee optimization of stock rotation and procurement.

The Market Twenty 4 Seven micromarket continues to be a strategic initiative that Continental plans to bolster in 2015 with a Market hybrid concept that offers grab-and-go items 24 hours a day and adds hot food service during peak hours in larger locations.

Also, two new customizable concepts, Mediterranean Creations and Mexican Cantina, were introduced into Continental cafe locations in 2014.
