Fiscal 2014 Revenues: $388,000,000

In 2014, Guest Services acquired the contract to operate the foodservice program at a new General Services Administration building that is home to a branch of the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, Md., started serving the staff of the Domino Sugar refinery in Baltimore and began operations at The Inn at Wise, a lodging property in southwest Virginia.

The company continues to execute a full promotional calendar with monthly recurring events in addition to significant holidays and celebrations (Earth Day, etc.).

Its house branded concepts represent a broad variety of popular cuisines, with a large emphasis on health and well-being.

Originally founded in 1917 to provide government facilities in Washington, D.C., with foodservices, Guest Services today operates in multiple segments. Half of revenues come from services not related to dining, such as the Lancaster Foods subsidiary, a major produce processor/distributor.

Guest Services clients include public institutions like the National Gallery of Art and the Holocaust Museum, state and national parks like Big Sur and Mount Rainier, government agencies such as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Defense Intelligence Agency, private businesses like Northrup Grumman and Boeing and resorts like the Doubletree Suites in Naples, Fla.
