First Drive-Thru Jazzman's Opens

Jazzman’s Café & Bakery has opened its first-ever drive thru location at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA, outside New Orleans. A concept that had had been in the planning stages before Hurricane Katrina, the NSU Jazzman's features digital menu boards, mobile ordering applications and a state of the art drive-thru system that is open to both students and the local community.

“Our campus is growing to meet the needs of the next generation of student and being able to tout features like drive-thru food service and mobile ordering on campus will help us attract and retain new students,” says University President Dr. Stephen Hulbert.

“This was an exciting opening for the Jazzman’s team,” adds Erica Milios, senior director of brand management for Sodexo’s Retail Brand Group, which operates the Jazzman's concept. “Not only was it our first drive through, but the development team worked their fresh-baked magic with some new menu items, like beignets, just for Nicholls State.”
