First Allergy-Free Food Plant

AllergyFree Food Co. has announced the opening of what it calls the first allergy-free food production plant in the United States, located in Dawsonville, GA. The plant will turn out a variety of food products free of the top eight food allergens recognized by the Food & Drug Administration, including frozen proteins, dry goods, cheese alternatives, entrée meals and frozen pizzas. Specific products include chicken nuggets, wings and tenderloins, pancake mix, pasta, waffle and pancake mixes and gravy mixes.
