Fairfax County (VA) Public Schools plans to reintroduce chocolate milk into its elementary cafeterias after banning the product at the beginning of the current school year, reports the Centerville Patch. The flavored milk had been removed because of concerns over its sugar content from the addition of high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). The district says its supplier has developed a formulation that eliminates HFCS without adding extra sugar.
