Duke University plans to move its Uncle Harry's campus retail store to make room for a new, yet-to-be-named full-service restaurant in its Central Campus section, reports the Duke Chronicle. The will close June 7 and reopen in November in a nearby location currently occupied by older buildings undergoing renovation. Meanwhile, plans for the new restaurant, to be operated by Bon Appetit Management Co., include alcohol (beer and wine) service, a menu focused on burgers and pizza and late-night operating hours—until at least 2 am on weekends. It will start off offering meals at all dayparts, including breakfast, but that may be cut depending on traffic.
