Delaware North has opened Summer House Santa Monica, the final piece of its six-outlet foodservice program in the all-new Terminal C at Orlando International Airport. It follows up the opening last September by Delaware North and joint-venture partners Superior Hospitality and Sweet Mango Hospitality of five of their six food and beverage outlets within the new terminal, including a mix of proprietary concepts and national brand partnerships.

With its 7,027 sq.ft. of space, Summer House Santa Monica offers multiple dining options and service styles, including full-service dining;, a bar, grab-and-go options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a market that will dish out the restaurant’s signature cookies, pastries and more.

“We are delighted to be here to officially cut the ribbon at Summer House in this incredible new terminal,” said Delaware North CEO Lou Jacobs at the venue’s ribbon cutting. “We know Terminal C has been a long-held vision for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, and we are grateful to be their partners to deliver an exceptional experience to travelers in this world-class travel hub.”

The California-inspired restaurant is a brand developed and licensed by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises and features a fresh, seasonal menu paired with breezy, beach house vibes. Summer House is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner for dine-in and carryout, with the menu offering travelers wide variety of cuisine options like burgers, tacos and salads. The restaurant also offers a full market on the first floor with freshly baked cookies and pastries, a coffee bar featuring La Colombe Coffee Roasters products and an extensive wine and cocktail list.

“Lettuce has had a working relationship with the Delaware North team for many years and through this partnership, we are excited to bring Summer House to Orlando for the first time,” says Kevin Reynolds, executive partner, Lettuce Fly. “This is our first airport project with Delaware North, and we are grateful to them and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for giving us the opportunity to bring this restaurant to life.”

“The vision for Terminal C has always been to provide a variety of options to passengers,” says Kevin J. Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, which operates and manages the Orlando International Airport. “We’re pleased that Summer House has opened at Terminal C to provide dining options that cater to our traveling customer that will enhance their experience.”
