Comcast-Spectacor is combining the operations of three of its business units—Global Spectrum (venue management), Ovations Food Services (concessions) and Paciolan (ticketing)—under a single brand called Spectra. Spectra will have an initial client base of more than 300 that collectively operate some 500 venues, including the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia (owned by parent firm Comcast-Spectacor), the University of Miami’s BankUnited Center, the Crown Complex in Fayetteville, N.C., the Cross Insurance Center in Portland, Maine, and Florida State University’s Tucker Center.
Ovations was ranked #11 on Food Management's 2015 Top 50 Contract Management Companies listing with 2014 revenues of $341 million from 140 clients. Among its clients is O.co Coliseum in Oakland, which serves as home field for both the NFL's Oakland Raiders and Major League Baseball's Oakland A's.
