Coca-Cola's experimental Freestyle fountain machine has been getting rave reviews on the Texas Christian University campus, the first pilot site for the machine deployed by foodservice contractor Sodexo, reports the TCU Daily Skiff. Freestyle lets users blend 106 different individual flavors into nearly limitless different combinations thanks to advanced pour technology.

Freestyle uses small cartridges of highly-concentrated beverages instead of large bags of syrup, allowing more choices are available in traditional machines. Users interface with the machine and make selections using a touchscreen, while the unit communicates usage, consumption and other market data directly back to the Coke's researchers.
