Ecolab has announced the acquisition of water treatment company Nalco Holding Co., which provides services to industrial, energy and institutional market customers.
Grindmaster-Cecilware Corp. has announced that Michael Tinsley has joined the company as CEO. Tinsley returns to the beverage and food equipment industry after having served as an executive with American Metal Ware and H&K International early in his career.
Ready Pac Foods has added Chef Thomas Helsel is its new executive research chef. He most recently served as senior research chef with Campbell Soup Co. He has in the past also worked for Sodexho Marriott Corp.

Phillips Seafood co-founder Brice Phillips passed away July 1 at age 90. Phillips Seafood sells seafood products to both the retail and foodservice channels and also operates a chain of 19 restaurants. Brice Phillips began the company with wife Shirley in 1956 as a single-site restaurant, Phillips Crab House, in Ocean City, MD.
