Brewpubs that provide local color and atmosphere are being opened under license by two different companies in Denver International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport. The Denver location, called Boulder Beer, is being operated by Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services while Cisco Brew Pub in Logan is by BAA Boston.

Boulder Beer features beers from Colorado’s oldest microbrewery, founded in 1979 by two Colorado University professors. Today, their brewery continues to operate out of its Boulder location. DNC plans to leverage the brewery’s local ties to help travelers identify with Denver and the Colorado culture as part of its Gateway Concept, which works to make airports more regionally distinct. DNC’s Travel Hospitality Services division operates at over two-dozen airports worldwide.

Cisco Brew Pub is debuting in Logan's Terminal B (American Airlines) and features signature ales from Nantucket Island's Cisco Brewery, along with fine wines and locally produced spirits from two Cisco affiliates: Nantucket Vineyard and Triple Eight Distillery. Cisco Brew Pub is part of BAA Boston’s Airmall at BOS concept at Logan and is being licensed from Cisco Brewers. An extensive menu will emphasize seafood along with pub favorites, pastas, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. BAA Boston is a project of BAA USA, a developer and manager of retail, food and beverage operations at several airports, including Pittsburgh International Airport, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
