ANFP Announces 2014-2015 Officers

Kathryn Massey becomes chair of the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals and Debbie McDonald will serve as chair elect.

The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals announced its new 2014-2015 national leaders. These individuals took office June 1, 2014 and serve the association on the ANFP Board of Directors and the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers.

Kathryn Massey, BA, CDM, CFPP of Sioux City, IA is ANFP’s new Chair of the Board after previously serving as chair elect. Massey is a certified dietary manager at Floyd Valley Hospital. She has worked in food service for nearly 30 years.

Serving as ANFP Chair Elect is Debbie McDonald, CDM, CFPP of Burkburnett, TX.  McDonald is Program Administrator- Food Service at North Texas State Hospital.  McDonald has 34 years of experience in food service and formerly served as chair of the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers.

Serving as Immediate Past Chair is Paula Bradley, CDM, CFPP. Bradley, who served as ANFP Chair in 2013-2014, is the Foodservice Director at Protection Valley Manor in Protection, KS. She has 36 years of foodservice experience.

ANFP’s Treasurer Elect is Ken Hanson, BS, CDM, CFPP of Ankeny, IA.  Hanson is Jail Services Supervisor at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.  Hanson has 28 years of foodservice experience and previously served as an ANFP Director at Large.

Continuing her term as ANFP Treasurer in 2014-2015 is Janice M. Hemel, CDM, CFPP of Dighton, Kan. Hemel is a Certified Dietary Manager/Foodservice Supervisor at Lane County Hospital and Long Term Care.  She has worked in the foodservice industry for 26 years.
