The Alabama Supreme Court upheld a decision to throw out student lawsuits over mandatory "dining dollars" dining fees at three state universities, reports the Associated Press. The students at the University of Alabama, Auburn University and the University of Alabama-Birmingham had filed suit against the schools and their dining management companies over the requirement that they purchase dining dollars as part of their meal plans. The suit was originally dismissed by a lower court judge at the beginning of this year.
