Air Force Foodservice Privatization Illegal: Union

The union representing government workers is objecting to a U.S. Air Force pilot project to privatize food service operations at six of its domestic installations. The American Federation of Government Employees, which represents some 600,000 federal government workers, claims that the initiative violates federal law because it was implemented before a study to measure whether it will save money was done.
