The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) has named Kelly Armstrong, currently economic development director for Greater Louisville, Inc., which serves as the city's chamber of commerce, as its new executive director.

“We met a number of very qualified people during the selection process, but Kelly stood out immediately," says AHF President Lisette Coston. "She has tremendous skills in economic development and strategic relationship building that will transfer so well to AHF. Kelly has the people skills to make our members feel welcome, and the business savvy to move the Association forward for a long time to come.”

AHF has managed by FSA Management Group of Louisville since its inception in 2009, when it was formed through the merger of the American Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators (ASHFSA) and the National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management (HFM).
