The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) held a recent election for the newest members of its board of directors and nominating committee. This election was for the three open officer positions, three directors-at-large positions and two nominating committee positions. The newly elected board members will join the current board beginning August 1, 2010.

“We are extremely pleased to have these outstanding individuals join the 2011 leadership team,” says Kris Schroeder, current AHF President. “They are talented professionals and strong advocates for self-operated healthcare foodservice.”

Patti Oliver, MS, RD, MBA, DHCFA, director of nutrition, UCLA Medical Center (president-elect)

Joyce Scott-Smith, MS, RD, director of food & nutrition/dietetic internship, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Shadyside (secretary)

Lisette Coston, MBA, RD, LD, director of nutrition and food services,
Saint Francis Health System,Tulsa, OK (treasurer-elect)

Raquel Bulford-Frazier, MS, RD, LDN, CC, FHCFA, chief of nutrition & food service, Bruce W. Carter VAMC, Miami (director)

Dan Henroid, MS, RD, CP-FS, director of nutrition & food services, University of California at San Francisco Medical Center (director)

The two new members of the 2011 Nominating Committee are Mary Spicer, RD, LD, DHCFA, director of food, nutrition, conference and telecommunications services, Texas Health Presbyterian Plano (TX) and Antoinette (Toni) Watkins, MS, RD, LD, director of food & nutrition services, The Medical Center of Plano (TX).
