Hobart Foodservice President John McDonough has been promoted to president of ITW Food Equipment Group-North America

Hobart Foodservice President John McDonough has been promoted to president of ITW Food Equipment Group-North America. He will retain direct oversight of Hobart Foodservice but will add Vulcan-Hart, Gaylord, Kairak, Stero, Wittco, the Hobart and Berkel mixing and slicing brands and Hobart’s North American Retail and Service units to his responsibilities. McDonough was a managing consultant with Frank Lynn & Associates, a Chicago-based consulting firm specializing in channel management strategies and best practices, before joining Hobart in 1991 as a market segment director for the Hobart foodservice business. He assumed the presidency of Hobart's North American Foodservice division in October 2000.
