Equipment Purchases

Cooking equipment (e.g., stoves, ovens, fryers) is the category that operators most often plan to replace or upgrade in the next two years (43%). Operators with annual food and beverage purchases of $500,000 or more are significantly more likely to plan to replace or upgrade cooking equipment (54%) than those with smaller purchases (27%). Only 3% of college operators say they do not need to upgrade/replace any of these equipment types and they are the most likely to plan to upgrade/replace each of these equipment types.
