LSU’s new look adds house, local concepts

When Louisiana State University (LSU) revamped its student union, it took the opportunity to switch out some concepts in favor of brands developed by the university, dining services provider Chartwells and local restaurateurs.
“The new locations were part of a strategy to introduce new dining brands and enhance the overall dining experience on campus while also offering students fresh, healthy and customizable options,” says Ben Southard, vice president of operations for Chartwells at LSU.
They join existing units like Panda Express, McDonald’s, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Smoothie King and Chick-fil-A in the complex.
