Whole Grain Hero

Last year we had a Whole Grain Hero promotion to raise awareness of whole grains. We passed out educational material to teachers and we had contracts that students signed and turned in that showed how many whole-grain items they ate during the promotion. The class with the highest percentage of “heroes,” or students who ate whole-grain items, received T-shirts.
