People put way too much trust into their suppliers. I’ve started verifying everything that comes in. There is a scale by the back door and we weigh every box of beef that comes in; you would be surprised how often the weight is short by five pounds. We do the same thing with our 90-count boxes of potatoes. By verifying things, your employees have a greater accountability too.
