The Southern California chain Slater’s 50/50 has achieved some noteriety with its eponymous 50/50 Burger, which uses patties consisting of equal parts ground beef and bacon. But now they have broken the 50% barrier—in fact, obliterated it—with a new, if temporary, offering (the ‘merica Burger) that uses a patty made of, we kid you not, 100% bacon.

It’s then topped with a slice of thick-cut bacon, “bacon island” dressing and bacon cheddar cheese (we sense a theme here…). There’s also a sunny side up egg just as a change of pace.

First the Higgs Boson and now this. What wonders will science come up with next?
