Sodexho has announced that it will begin accepting MasterCard PayPass at 225 phase one implementation locations and will expand the option to 1,000 Sodexho-managed corporate sites by the end of this year. PayPass is a convenient substitute for cash, especially for purchases under $25 where no signature is required, in which the user simply taps a PayPass-enabled card or device on the reader to complete the transaction. The payment is automatically charged to the individual’s PayPass account, speeding up the checkout process.
