We held a contest on Twitter at the end of the fall 2013 semester to raise awareness and sales at our coffee shop locations. The contest was called Campus Coffee Crawl. Followers had from Nov. 4th through the 26th to visit four of our on-campus coffee shops. They then had to tweet a photo from each location to our Campus Dining Twitter account using #campuscoffeecrawl. Once they had completed the crawl and posted tweets, they received a Campus Coffee Crawl long-sleeve T-shirt and were entered to win free coffee during dead week, the week before finals. Participation was overwhelmingly positive. We had some people tweet that they joined Twitter just to participate.
