We created an approved foods tool, so parents and teachers know what food items meet the Smart Snacks regs. The list has the manufacturer’s name, the item name, the serving size and at which stores the item can be purchased locally. It’s time consuming, but if you have an intern this is a great project for them. It helps answer the question of, “What can I bring to my child’s classroom.” We find it is one of our most used pieces of info on our website.
