Serve up mealtime motivation

This idea was “stolen” from my very dear friend and director at the Londonderry School District in New Hampshire, Amanda Venezia. I saw Amanda use these letter boards with motivational quotes at her district and told her, “Oh I am so stealing this,” and the first words out of her mouth were, “Please do.” We decided to label them as our inspiration and mindfulness boards. Each of my three schools have two boards, and they are the first things students see as they approach the breakfast and lunch lines. We can all get caught up in the little or big stresses throughout the day, so we thought it would be a nice reminder for students and staff, whether it be to get through their next class or to make it to the end of the school day.
