Second Place went to the Army team from the Secretary of the Army's Dining Room, Fort Bragg and Army Reserve HQ Atlanta.

Not only do they sail the seven seas, but they also win culinary wars.

Teams from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard along with some mixed service teams, competed in the 3rd annual Military Culinary War held at the Restaurant Association of Maryland trade show in Baltimore.

A mystery box competition, the event gave each team a different ingredient to work with.

First place went to the Navy's USS Williams out of Norfolk, VA, whose team prepared lobster tail, chicken breast and developed the recipe: Lavalicious Pears.

Second Place went to the Pentagon Team. They prepared Sea Scallops, Pork Loin and Ricotta Stuffed Pears. Third place went to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs team who prepared catfish, veal ribeye and pear feta salad.
