INGREDIENTS:4 cups (2 lbs.) lentils, rinsed
10 cups water
2 packets (2 oz. ) dry onion soup mix
2 cans (32 oz.) tomatoes or tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
16 cups cooked rice, held hot
DIRECTIONS:1. In a large saucepan, bring lentils and water to a boil. Add dry onion soup mix and simmer 30 minutes.

2. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer 30 minutes longer. Serve over pasta, rice or corn chips.
