Host America Corp. is selling its Lindley Food Service and Host America Corporate Dining divisions to the current managers of those units in order to concentrate on energy management. The sale, which is subject to shareholder approval, will raise $3.7 million, the company says. Shareholders also will be asked to approve a new name for the company when the proxies are issued. Even though Host America’s energy management divisions, acquired over the past four years, are located in Texas and Oklahoma, the company’s headquarters will remain in Hamden, CT.
