Parkhurst Dining Services, based in Pittsburgh, celebrated the participation of the city's Steelers (a Parkhurst client at the team's headquarters operation) in the recent Super Bowl with a selection of Steelers-themed menu items, many incorporating the team's black and gold colors. They included deli rings, cupcakes, Eat n' Park Smiley Cookies (Parkhurst is a division of the Eat n' Park restaurant chain operator) and Terrible Towel cakes (Steelers fans traditionally wave “terrible towels” to spur the team on).

On the Friday before the February 6 game in Dallas, all Pittsburgh area PNC Bank locations (where Parkhurst is the dining services provider) featured a tailgate themed menu that included Buffalo Chicken Dip, Homemade Italian Sausage Sandwiches, Steel City Chili, Homemade Pierogis and Football-shaped Panini Sandwiches.
