Food courts at Nashville International Airport will include a number of local restaurant concepts next year, the Hendersonville Star News reports. A Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority committee has approved plans to hire four national food service companies that will license several local brands for more than a dozen food outlets in the airport. The full authority has yet to consider the contracts. The plan is part of a $35 million renovation to the airport terminal. Local restaurant companies selected to participate include Noshville New York Delicatessen, Bongo Java, O’Charley’s, Loveless Café, Kijiji Coffee, Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Swett’s, Whit’s Barbecue, Neely’s Bar-B-Cue, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Tavern, Bread & Co., Provence, Gibson Guitar Café and Baja Burrito. Also featured will be several national brands, including Starbucks, Wendy’s, Burger King, Quiznos, Manchu Wok, Villa Pizza, Famous Famiglia and Seattle’s Best.
