Every kitchen should have filtered water for soups, stock, coffee, fountain systems, ice water, fine teas, even Jell-O. When water does not taste good, neither will some of your foods. I even boil my pastas in filtered water. Many inexpensive filtering systems can be added onto your kitchen faucet.
